Top 5 Things Every Man in Their Twenties Should Do
Get the pen out and get this list jotted down!
1) Write a Bucket List
The number one thig I’d say to do must be to make a bucket list. Although writing one can make a great thing to keep in your memories, the main thing is to think of your goals, and things you want to do and see, while you can.
Since writing mine, and some of my mates writing theirs we’ve began to make plans to do some of them together. The list is also a great excuse to do things you’ve always wanted to!
2) Take More Care in What You Eat
The old cliché is that you are what you eat, but now more than ever as more information about what is in processed food is available, its clear that we should take some more concern to what we are putting in to our bodies, and the impact this can have in your life. This entire blog is dedicated to the journey of me making my life cleaner and food is one of the easiest yet most rewarding ways to make this change, with for me meal preparation making the difference.
3) Find a Trademark Cologne
From aftershaves and eau de toilettes to colognes there is hundreds of fragrance options to pick from however, start thinking of what you want to wear because you like the smell, and not because all your friends wear it. Go outside the brands you would normally look at and smell something new and when you find one you love, stick to it. As you begin to wear this people will associate it with you and you will be amazed at the compliments and original scent can get!
4) Look After Your Health
This might be one of the most important tips I can give you. When you’re in your teens you might feel invincible and not go to the doctor as much as you should. As you hit your twenties this is the perfect time to start watching for illness and working to fight against them. One of the biggest illnesses for men between 15-49 is testicular cancer, more information can be found on the London Urology Associates website, so make sure you know the signs.
5) Take Care of Your Skin
As we start to get a bit older, its really important that we start to give our skin what it needs, and with the drinking and eating badly in our teens (and now!) we have time to catch up on. The best thing you should do is find a moisturiser, cleanser and exfoliator that works for your skin type. Using them doesn’t take much time out of your day and you’ll be glad of it in the long run!
Remember- dehydrated skin and dry skin are two different things! No matter how much moisturiser you wear, if your skin is dehydrated you will need to up your intake of water to improve it!
